Community crime/public-safety forum: Tuesday evening, December 8, 7:30 pm at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church in the Assembly Room. Police Chief Ronald Ricucci will discuss the current crime situation and public-safety measures and will field questions and listen to concerns. We'll start with *very brief*, optional attendee statements of concerns or issues you'd like to have addressed.

The Takoma Voice in the Community: A meeting with Voice Editor-Publisher Eric Bond and Voice boosters-in-chief Howard Kohn and Diana Kohn. The meeting will take place at Deb Nelson's, 7411 Maple Avenue, Thursday evening, December 10, 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
